The series of objects reflects on the past and present through the history of a tree. The memories of a tree within the wood itself form a kind of ouroboros of life and death, past and present. It is a metaphor for a journey, an attempt to define its origins and direction, its cycles, and what comes next.
The objects are created by manually milling solid oak blocks and applying handmade ceramic tiles bearing generated images transferred using the fired decal technique.
