The world around us is rapidly developing and changing. And most likely for everyone these are not just words, but reality, even if we simply compare the world today and during our childhood. Half of what we use everyday simply did not exist back then. Technological and medical research give people new opportunities. However, all this progress poses complex philosophical and moral-ethical questions for humanity. For example, embryo freezing technology which has already become vastly available. Is an embryo already a human? At what point does a cell become a human? A person ...? Or experiments on modifying animals with human genes in order to grow organs for people inside of them. Where will be the line between a man and an animal?
There is a lot of such research going on in the world, however, do we have answers to all these questions in our modern society and are we ready to discuss these topics? There's a feeling that these changes occur by themselves, and we, both as society and as individuals, are not ready to analyze them. On the contrary we fence ourselves off from these topics covering them with a kind of wax that can be melted later ...
